A Welcome Poem

(New variation of an old favorite)
 

 
It's the night of (Hostess name) party, the guests are all here. The magic of good times, soon will appear.

We've plenty of goodies to show you tonight, but let's get the evening started right. Just listen and add up the points for your score, we have fun, laughs, gifts, and more.

If you are related to our Hostess add two, it sure is nice to get to meet you. Friends and neighbors add 3 more, now listen carefully to increase your score.

All parents are special, on that we agree, for each of our children you can now add 3. Add 1 point for each year you've been wed, but take away 5 if you're wearing red.

Add 5 because you're special if your wearing pink, but take away 10 for dirty dishes in the sink. Were you on time, not a minute late? Punctuality counts so give yourself 8.

If you kissed your husband or boyfriend add 12, but into your personal life we must delve. If you kissed them both you must subtract 20, because your in trouble and trouble a plenty.

Now here is your chance to up your score, there's a 50 point bonus but what is it for? The 50 points bonus goes to a VIP, for having a party to help (Hostess name) and me.

Now add up your points, and the one who is high can find her way, to claim a prize.
